Bulldog Basketball Alumni Honored
Friday night, February 20, 2026 was truly a special evening—one that has been a long time in the making.
We proudly celebrated twenty-eight remarkable Bulldog alumni, five outstanding coaches, and one athletic director by commemorating their achievements and displaying their likenesses on the gym walls, where they will forever hang as reminders of their greatness. --- Click Here to Read the Full Story

As our 20 and Counting Project continues to build momentum, we’re calling on Bulldog Nation to step up once again. This initiative has always been about more than banners and recognition — it’s about preserving our legacy, honoring those who paved the way, and building something even greater for the generations to come.
We are actively inviting alumni to help strengthen our board, assist with ongoing research, and lend their voices to the decision-making process as we continue to expand our reach and vision.
No one understands Wyandotte pride like those who lived it, wore it, and defended it.
We’re also excited to launch an alumni apparel site (coming soon), giving our Bulldogs everywhere the opportunity to support the mission while proudly representing their Bulldog spirit. Whether near or far, you’ll be able to wear your pride and stand behind a project that celebrates our championship tradition and united future.
This is more than a project.

Bulldog, Jayhawk Connections!
In the proud history of the University of Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball program, there has been a remarkable connection with the Wyandotte Bulldog basketball program and its state championship teams.
19 Bulldogs that have played in the Jayhawks program over its storied history. Of those 19 Bulldogs, 16 have been members of Wyandotte’s state championship teams.

Bulldogs, Big Things Are Happening!
Wyandotte Basketball’s 20 and Counting is proud to announce two major projects to celebrate and preserve our legendary Bulldog history:

The Bulldog Wall of Fame – A permanent tribute to all Bulldogs who went on to play NCAA Division I basketball and/or professionally. Each legend will be honored with a plaque featuring their photo and story, proudly displayed on the north wall of the gym behind the bleachers.

Goal: Complete in time for the new school year.

Grand Unveiling: We’ll invite everyone back for a special celebration at the start of basketball season.

Bulldog Legacy Banners – High above the court, banners will honor Bulldog greats by displaying their names and retired numbers for all to see.
